The success of the POLITO Studio project continues: POLITO Studio is the workshop course designed by the Polytechnic University of Turin and the Association to enhance the skills of Italian architects through participation in architecture competitions abroad, currently focusing on China and Latin America.
The group TDH – TURIN Design Hub, formed by 12 architecture studios united within the POLITO Studio project, has been selected for the second time in the first phase of an international competition in China: a double achievement that confirms the value and quality of the training and professional exchange on which POLITO Studio is based.
Following its fourth position out of 21 entries for the international competition for the Meiguan Innovative Corridor at the beginning of the year, TDH has just achieved an important result in the Beyond Yue / Janhu Revival Planning And Design Competition, entering the list of the top 20 selected projects.
For the definition of the projects, POLITO Studio involved the group with two training workshops focused on the cultural, technical, and procedural tools that are essential to be able to deal with a competition launched in China, to which the group added numerous further meetings to complete the design and formally present the application for the competition, thus activating, even in this second case, the collaborative mechanism between researchers and designers that is a fundamental objective of POLITO Studio.
